Camping l’Île d’Or — “het Gouden Eiland” — is een camping met een magische naam aan de Côte d’Azur. De camping biedt directe toegang tot de zee en is omgeven door de spectaculaire rode rotsen van de Esterel.

This small campsite on the heights of Saint-Raphaël offers one of the most beautiful sea views in the region, looking out to the Tour Carrée. The atmosphere is rustic, calm and unfussy. It's an address for campers who want, above all, a pitch with a view and absolute calm. Access to the sea is via a flight of steps or a small path (400 m). Equipment is simple: a small pool and basic but clean sanitary facilities. There is no animation, which guarantees peaceful evenings under the stars. Some may regret the lack of shade on certain pitches and the distance from shops. A contemplative spot for couples or solo travellers wanting to recharge facing the Mediterranean.
